Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) will host a third entrepreneur summit in Osceola County on Wednesday to bring together various entrepreneurs from across the 15th Congressional District and provide a forum to showcase their innovative technologies to the public and potential investors. The Osceola County Entrepreneur Summit will take place at Workforce Central Florida in Kissimmee on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 8:00AM – 12Noon.

“Keeping the entrepreneurial spirit alive in Central Florida is critical to our local economy and our ability to create jobs,” said Congressman Posey. “These forums provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their new products and innovative technologies to the public and potential investors.”

The agenda includes a keynote address by Congressman Bill Posey and presentations by eight to ten companies. Other speakers and resource agencies include Florida Venture Forum, High Tech Corridor Council, Black Business Investment Fund, Disney Entrepreneurship Center, Hispanic Business Initiative Fund, the Entrepreneur’s Source, USF Connect Program, Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, the Heart of United Way and the Florida Economic Gardening Institute, GrowFL program. .
