One Year Later Health Care Law Has Created Uncertainty, Higher Costs, Loss of Liberty and Bigger Government
Melbourne, FL,
March 23, 2011
Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement on the one year anniversary of the signing of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (also known as the National Health Care Law):
“The Administration should stop selectively issuing health care waivers to over 1,000 individual organizations and instead issue one giant waiver for every American who wants one,” said Congressman Posey, who has cosponsored a bill to do just that. “This 2,700 page law has done nothing to bring down the overall cost of health care or help the economy create private sector jobs. Instead, it has created even more uncertainty for America’s small businesses, stripped people of their right to make their own health care decisions and laid the ground work for growing government beyond the point of sustainability.” For more information on what the health care law means to you, please Click Here. |
