Posey to Host Third Entrepreneur Summit in Osceola County on April 27th

Building on the success of two previous summits for entrepreneurs, Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) will host a third forum in Osceola County to continue to bring together various entrepreneurs from across the 15th Congressional District to showcase their innovative technologies to the public and potential investors. The Osceola County Entrepreneur Summit will take place at Workforce Central Florida in Kissimmee on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 8:00AM – 12 Noon.
“Keeping the entrepreneurial spirit alive in Central Florida is critical to our local economy and our ability to create jobs,” said Congressman Posey. “These forums provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to showcase their new products and innovative technologies to the public and potential investors.” The agenda includes a keynote address by Congressman Bill Posey and presentations by eight to ten companies. Other speakers and resource agencies include Florida Venture Forum, High Tech Corridor Council, Black Business Investment Fund, Disney Entrepreneurship Center, Hispanic Business Initiative Fund, the Entrepreneur’s Source, USF Connect Program, Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce, St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce, the Heart of United Way and Florida Grow. Networking and a continental breakfast begins at 8:00 AM and the program begins at 9:00 AM. Congressman Bill Posey is pleased to coordinate with Workforce Central Florida, Osceola Economic Development Commission, UCF Incubator, Small Business Association (SBA), Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Score. Companies interested in presenting must compete and submit an application no later than Friday, March 4, 2011, at 5:00 PM.
