Rep. Bill Posey (R--Rockledge) released the following statement in observance of Memorial Day: 

"This Memorial Day, as we honor the service of our brave men and women in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation, let us also remember and offer our prayers for our military men and women currently protecting our freedoms. For nearly 250 years, adversaries and foreign powers have sought to extinguish the torch of liberty, yet, because of the courage and dedication of our servicemembers and their families, America has stood strong, as a shining light on the hill, a hope for the whole world.  We owe them, and their families, a great debt of gratitude today, and every day."
