Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement regarding President Trump's nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court:
“Once again President Trump has delivered on his promise to the American people in nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Barrett has many great qualities that will make her an outstanding Supreme Court Justice – she has shown herself to be a fair judge who has a commitment to applying the law rather than legislating from the bench. She has demonstrated a deep understanding of, and commitment to, the U.S. Constitution. I look forward to the U.S. Senate moving forward with her confirmation to the Court.” |
