Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) issued the following statement recognizing the 19th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks on our nation:

“Today we remember all those who lost their lives during the sinister attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. On that day, many courageous Americans ran toward grave danger to render assistance and protect the lives of those in harm's way. We humbly thank these heroes - our police officers, firefighters and first responders - who selflessly came to our aid in a time of deep crisis. We also honor our brave men and women in uniform, and their families, who sacrificed so much to defend our nation in the years ahead from terrorist threats around the world. We can look to their example to find strength to face the tough challenges that lie ahead.”
