Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) issued the following statement regarding the passing of President George H.W. Bush:
“President Bush dedicated his life to serving our nation and earned the respect of us all. As a young man he fought with courage during World War II as a U.S. Navy pilot, served his local community as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Texas, was appointed as an ambassador and Director of the CIA before being elected Vice President and then President of the United States. He was a devoted father and family man and his example of servant-heart leadership will be missed.” |
