Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement in observance of Memorial Day:

“Memorial Day is a stark reminder of the great lengths that our service members have undertaken to serve the nation we love and protect our liberty. Dating as far back as to the end of the Civil War, our fellow Americans established the tradition of recognizing the sacrifices made by fallen soldiers. It’s the obligation of every American to continue this tradition. We owe our brave fallen heroes, all those in uniform who serve our nation and their families, a tremendous debt of gratitude for their courage, service, and sacrifices.”
