Congressman Bill Posey will be touring Fellsmere Farms during the spring district work period his office has announced. His tour will include a visit to the Fellsmere Farms Grove and packing house and will take place at 10:00 A.M. on March 31, 2010. Media is invited to attend the tour. Following the tour, Posey will host a roundtable discussion with Indian River County Citrus leaders to discuss the citrus situation.

“Citrus is a critical industry for Florida and has a strong base of operations in Indian River County,” said Congressman Posey. “Touring Fellsmere Farms is an excellent opportunity to listen to the concerns of citrus growers and experience the challenges they face in the daily operations of a citrus facility.”
