Internships

How to apply for an internship:

Serving your government through an internship is an exciting experience, and it gives you a unique perspective for learning how our federal government works while helping the citizens of Florida's 8th Congressional District.  Interns can serve in my Melbourne office, during the summers and academic semesters. Please contact Patricia Febro at 321-632-1776 or patricia.febro@mail.house.gov. If you are interested in serving in my Washington office, please contact Kate Bryan at 202-225-3671 or FL08.Internships@mail.house.gov.

Internships are typically non-paid, but most colleges will provide course credit for the work you perform while working as an intern. Please indicate on your application if you are seeking college credit or a paid position.

Responsibilities for interns typically include answering phones, opening and sorting mail, research, writing letters, assisting staff with special projects, helping constituents and other jobs as necessary.

If you would like to apply, please download our Internship Application form and mail to my office in Melbourne, FL at the address listed below.  Internships are available year round.
