East-Central Florida Integrated Water Resource to be conducted by the St Johns River Management District (SJRWMD) located at 525 Community College Pkwy, Palm Bay, Florida.
$500,000
To help provide sustainable water supplies for the east-central Florida area by developing and using available alternative water from the Taylor Creek Reservoir.  Federal appropriations have been provided for this project in the past and the community will provide matching funds. 

St. Johns Heritage Parkway. The entity to receive funding for this project is City of Melbourne, 900 East Strawbridge Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32901. 
$10 million
The parkway is a major new arterial roadway that will provide congestion relief to other crowded federal, state, and local roads, including I-95. This project is a priority for the Brevard Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Melbourne.

St. Johns Heritage Parkway South Interchange. The entity to receive funding for this project is City of Palm Bay, located at 120 Malabar Road, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. 
$10 million
The Parkway is a major new arterial roadway that will provide congestion relief to other crowded federal, state, and local roads, including I-95. The road will provide additional hurricane evacuation capacity for more than 100,000 residents of Palm Bay. This project is a priority for the Brevard Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Palm Bay.

Aerospace Workforce Transition for the Brevard Workforce Development Board, located at 597 Havarti Court, Suite 40, Rockledge, Florida 32955. 
$1 million
The project will focus on safety of the remaining shuttle missions while preparing the workers for new jobs upon mission completion of the shuttle missions. This issue deserves national attention due to the sensitive nature of the space program with regards to defense, research and US prominence in future space initiatives.

Brevard Country Storm Damage Protection Project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located at 701 San Marco Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
$7 million
For initial construction of the Mid-Reach section of this federally authorized project which would provide added protection from coastal storms and hurricanes on the coastline.  The project is a priority for the State of Florida and the County also has funding for the project.

Canaveral Harbor Maintenance Dredging of Channels with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers located at 701 San Marco Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
$1.5 million
Completing the preconstruction, engineering and design phase for deepening West Turning Basin and channel.  The recommended improvements to the channel are urgently required to provide adequate channel capacity and safety for cruise ships and cargo vessels that will be calling at Port Canaveral.  Some costs are shared with the Corps of Engineers. 

General Annual Operation and Maintenance Activities at Port Canaveral with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located at 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207.
$5 million.
Annual maintenance of the federal navigation channel and basins and the federal canal and lock.  The channel is used by the Department of Defense, civilian agencies and commercial vessels. 

Canaveral Entrance Channel Sediment Trap Dredging with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, located at 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida, 32207.
$4 million
To dredge the sediment trap, nearing its capacity, which keeps the channel open in the aftermath of coastal storms.  In addition to the appropriation request, the same $4 million has been requested of the authorizing committee to specifically authorize the amount needed to dredge the sediment trap. 

Soneticom, Inc., located at 1045 South John Rodes Boulevard, West Melbourne, Florida 32904
$8 million
This technology is important to helping our military and would be used for enhancement of a currently installed systems for continued operations. 

Defense Job Creation and Supply Chain Initiative provided by the Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership located at 1180 Celebration Boulevard, Celebration, Florida 34747.
$5 million
This project will create or retain defense manufacturing jobs in Florida while providing Department of Defense response capability to demand surges and reduced risk of supply-chain disruptions.

U.S. Army ROTC Emergency Facility Renovation at the Florida Institute of Technology, located at 150 West University Boulevard, Melbourne, Florida 32901.
$934,500
To provide new, upgraded training space for Army and Army National Guard Reserve Officers Training Cadet Corps. 

Palm Bay Police Department’s Mobile Command Unit located at 120 Malabar Road, Palm Bay, Florida 32907
$600,000
Provide City of Palm Bay with communications technology to provide on-site command, control, and coordination during critical incidents.  The need for this project is shown in the State of Florida Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, the Brevard Country Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.

Activity Based Total Accountability (ABTA) at the Florida Institute of Technology, located at 150 West University Boulevard, Melbourne, Florida 32901.
$961,400
To create a national government services standards program to provide guidelines from which the efficiency of government services can be compared.

New Combat Weapons Training Facility at Patrick Air Force Base, 1201 Edward H. White Street, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, 32925.
$9.8 million
Patrick Air Force Base is in need of a new firing range, as the current facility is inadequate and Air Force security forces are unable to receive proper firearms training.

University of Florida (UF) Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) located at P.O. Box 110180, Gainesville, Florida.
$4 million
Improve technologies for treatment and detection of citrus canker and citrus greening diseases.
