As hurricane Ian makes landfall in Florida this week, it's crucial to stay abreast of all updates and have important emergency information handy.  

It’s important to to take this storm seriously, understand your home’s vulnerability, if you live in an evacuation area and how to get the National Weather Service forecasts for your area.  Gather a supply kit, become familiar with evacuation routes if appropriate, and talk with your family and neighbors.
