Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement regarding his vote against Speaker Pelosi’s newest spending spree:

“Today is the culmination of months of back room deals, partisan politics and irresponsible leadership from Speaker Pelosi to ram trillions of dollars of spending through Congress and score a political win for her, the President and her allies.  Instead of lowering food and gas prices, solving our supply chain problems, or securing our borders, this bill aims to restructure our lives and steal freedom and prosperity from working families to benefit Washington elites and their special interest groups.  
 
“Furthermore, there has been a concerted effort to obscure the full and true costs of this bill and how it would be implemented without another large debt limit increase before the end of the year. The American people are tired of being pushed around by Washington insiders and are frustrated by the disconnect between them and this radical agenda.”
