Posey Initiative Protects Workers with Natural Immunity from COVID-19

Today, Congressman Bill Posey (R-FL) joined Rep. Diana Harshbarger and several of their colleagues to introduce the Natural Immunity is Real Act. This requires Federal agencies to take into account naturally acquired immunity from previous COVID-19 infection when issuing any rules or regulations aimed at protecting from COVID-19.

“No American should be forced to choose between getting the COVID vaccine or keeping their job, particularly when the Biden policy fails to recognize that millions of Americans have immunity because they’ve already had and recovered from COVID,” said Congressman Bill Posey. This commonsense initiative acknowledges the robust evidence for long-lasting natural immunity and keeps the federal government out of the medical decisions of Americans.”
