“It’s inspiring to see the years of hard work; planning and ingenuity come full circle with the successful test launch of Space X’s Falcon 9 rocket. I have worked for years to promote commercial space efforts in Florida, and this launch is an important step for America’s commercial space leadership. There are important benefits of having a robust commercial space industry to work in conjunction with NASA’s efforts to keep America first in space. I join many in expressing congratulations to Space X for a successful launch from Cape Canaveral.”
