Rep. Posey’s Statement on Blue Origin Coming to the Space Coast

Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) released the following statement regarding this morning’s announcement about Blue Origin’s plans to launch from Cape Canaveral:
“It is great news that Blue Origin has chosen Florida’s Space Coast as a base of operations to build and launch its reusable rockets and test its new American-made BE-4 engine,” said Congressman Bill Posey, who represents Cape Canaveral. “Blue Origin’s mission is an exciting one – to send space tourists on an exhilarating journey to space, mimicking the first human spaceflight missions conducted by American astronauts in the early days of our space program. Blue Origin’s presence at the Cape will help create more space jobs in Florida and further advance America’s commercial space endeavors.” |
