Community Leaders to Earn Recognition during Hispanic Heritage Month Festivities

On Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Viva Brevard Gala, Congressman Bill Posey will present Congressional Medals of Recognition to six local Hispanic leaders for their service to our community. The Viva Brevard Gala is sponsored by the Brevard Hispanic Center and will be held at the Red Ginger Restaurant located at the Melbourne Square Mall.
At the Gala, Congressman Posey will present special Congressional Medals of Recognition to: Iris Acevedo (posthumous), John Alpizar, Jackie Colon, Maria Paulina Ferro Lacouture, Blanca Garcia and Rafael Contreras. |
