Posey: No Exemption for Congress from Obamacare

Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) issued the following statement regarding the President's attempt to exempt Congress from Obamacare:
“Obamacare was passed by Democrats led by then-Speaker Pelosi, and opposed by ALL Republican members of the House,” said Congressman Posey. “Republicans want all members and staff to be covered by Obamacare, because we believe the entire law would probably get repealed if members have to live with it like everyone else. The President is trying to exempt Congress and staff so that members will not vote to repeal Obamacare. I will continue to oppose any exemptions to Obamacare.” |
