Presidential Greetings

My office would be happy to help you in securing any of the following: a congratulatory greeting from the President for a birthday (for persons 80 years of age or over) or a wedding anniversary (50 years of marriage or more). Presidential Greetings are also available upon achievement of the Eagle Scout or the Girl Scout Gold Award.

Please provide at least three weeks advance notice. Send requests to my Washington D.C. office.

If you or a family member are celebrating a special day, I would be happy to help secure a greeting from the President.

Please note that, to be eligible for a birthday greeting, the person celebrating must be at least eighty years old. Those celebrating wedding anniversaries must have been married at least fifty years in order to qualify for a greeting from the President. Presidential greetings may also be requested for weddings, the birth of a child, Eagle Scout or Girl Scout Gold Awards and Bar/Bat Mitvahs.

Please submit all requests at least six weeks in advance of an event in order to recieve the greeting in time. If you have questions, please feel free to contact my office for additional information.
